As Principal of Concord Partners, William Herman was retained to act as Project Manager and Owner’s Representative to advise and manage all aspects of the development process for the conversion of the historic Woodward & Lothrop Department store in downtown Washington, DC, to a new, state-of-the-art Opera House facility. This was meant to become the new home of the Washington Opera, but after further review the renovation proved unrealistic to the organization and the building was subsequently sold. |
