A non-profit organization committed to a prosperous environment and improved quality of life, the US Green Building Council has transformed the way communities are designed by establishing the LEED rating system and embracing environmentally-responsible building initiatives. With extensive experience in green building and sustainable design standards, Urban Realty Advisors was selected by USGBC to manage the build-out of the organization’s national headquarters in Washington, D.C.
The entire USGBC build-out was planned and constructed with efficient, sustainable values in mind–and with 22,000 square feet of open work areas, ample natural light and 93% of the interior offering views of the outdoors, the USGBC headquarters fully support the organization’s commitment to innovative green building. Under the management of Urban Realty Advisors, the USGBC staff was able to move into their space at a construction value actually under other non-LEED certified projects. Moreover, the project achieved LEED certification at the Platinum level.
